If you received multiple email invites, you can click "activate" on each of those emails and will be able to see multiple individuals and/or business portals using one login. This is for clients managing more than one tax or business folder.

Tax Season 2022
Is Accounting Plus taking in-person appointments this year? Our office is open for regular tax season hours, and we are taking some in-person appointments this year if drop off/digital upload is not possible but strongly encourage digital tax workflow, it’s so convenient!
How is my Social Security Income taxed when I have other income? Some of your SSA benefits can be taxable if you have other earnings Visit the Social Security Administration site for more information.
Did you know you can setup a login and access your SSA records, check your expected retirement age benefits anytime, rather than wait for a mailed copy to come every 5 years?
Is the sale of my personal home taxable? With the rise of housing prices, a lot of people have sold or considered selling their homes, and with a larger profit in hand, it’s good to prepare for the potential tax. Good news is, you may qualify for the personal gains exclusion (and not pay tax) if you owned the home more than 2 out of the last 5 years and if your profit on the sale is less than $250,000. (married couples $500K) You can calculate your profit by considering the original purchase price minus the sale price. Checkout the IRS website for more information
How can I check the status of my IRS Refund? Where’s my Refund?

What if I need to file 2019, 2020 or 2021 returns? Can I just add those to this year’s filing? You would file each year independently, but they can all still be filed this year and are still eligible to be electronically filed. We want to make sure to file them by the April 15th due date, to avoid any further delays or so you don’t miss out on refunds that may be due to you.
I heard there are thousands of new IRS agents being hired, is that true? There is some truth to the fact the IRS has received additional funding and support to address shortages in staffing and delays in processing of filings. We understand there will be much more effort from the IRS in the coming months, and years to enforce the IRS regulations on tax return filing. Do I have to Scan my docs to be able to use to Portal to receive my tax return copies and save the $10 OFF? A: If you do not have a scanner or way to upload digitally, you may drop everything off by paper at our office and we will scan and send you everything back electronically. Our New Portal allows us to use a login or an app on most devices to share information and then finalize the return using e-signatures and click to pay. There you can download a copy of your return anytime at your convenience, because it’s always nice to have a digital copy of the return.
Do I need to file a tax return? You should speak to a tax preparer if you are unsure, but in general if you have income over the following thresholds, you will need to file a return.
