PTA Compliance Package

PTA organizations across Missouri and other states face the same challenge when it comes to staying in compliance with the IRS, the Secretary of State, and their state PTA organizations:.  finding willing people to fill the PTA Treasurer position who know how to manage not only the finances of the PTA, but also to file non-profit tax returns, perform annual audits, and file Annual Registration reports.  If these tasks aren’t performed correctly on an annual basis, then the organization is out of compliance.  Simply put: non-compliance will cost the PTA money, which as we all know is harder than ever to come by these days.
